YOUR TOUR HOST TEAM
Our Tour Host Team, Lyn Adrian, Kay Wheaton and Gudrun Tamandl have worked a combined total of over 80 years in the Travel and Cruise Industry.
The team is headed by Cruise Collection General Manager, Lyn Adrian, who has designed and hosted these tours since 1996. Lyn’s career in the Travel and Cruise Industry spans over 35 years including working as Guest lecturer on Silversea and Seabourn and Hosting more than 30 cruises to all parts of the World including 10 excursions to Antarctica.
Kay Wheaton has hosted more than 12 tours for Cruise Collection including annual groups on the QE2 and QM2. She has also managed and hosted tours to Alaska, the Mediterranean and Northern Europe. She is a Master Cruise Consultant and finalist for the past two years for the “Cruise Consultant of the Year” awarded by the International Cruise Council of Australia.
Gudrun Tamandl also has over 30 years experience in the Cruise and Travel Industry and has for several years Hosted our annual Silversea Fly/Cruise Holidays to Dubai, India and Asia. Her knowledge of this area in unsurpassed and the special touring organized by her is a highlight of these tours. She is also fluent in German and has also hosted our annual Antarctic Adventure on Hanseatic.
CRUISE COLLECTION HOSTED FLY/CRUISE TOURS
Cruise Collection’s Fly/Cruise programme includes several departures which are offered as fully hosted from Australia by our experienced tour hosts. These services are provided free of charge but are subject to a minimum number of guests participating. When this number is achieved the tour will be nominated as a “Guaranteed Hosted Tour”. Hosted Tours are limited to a maximum number of 24 guests.
Should you wish to join one of our Hosted Tours it is essential to book and deposit early. Should it appear that minimum numbers will not be reached at least six months prior to departure, you will then be given an option to cancel and have your deposit refunded in full (less a small administration fee) or transfer this deposit to another tour.
Guests wishing to travel independently are welcome to join these tours and take advantage of our specially negotiated rates and also have the peace of mind that the tour will be worry-free with all details taken care of. Guests may choose to spend time on their own or join other members of the group as preferred.
